I am excited to share Jett’s nursery reveal with you today! We spent a lot of time dreaming, planning, shopping, and putting things together to make his room what it is. There’s still a few things I’d like to add (like a rug, glider, and maybe his name on the accent wall) but I am happy with how it turned out!
We went with a minimalist, natural design style with a touch of whimsy that can easily be altered as Jett grows older.

Below l share pictures of us putting it together, how to make a board and batten accent wall, then the finished product!
I’ve included links of where I bought everything and the paint color we chose below!

We kept everything pretty budget friendly. As I’m sure you know, baby stuff and especially nursery items can get super pricey, but we definitely made it cute without breaking the bank! We decided not to get a glider, so that saved us a few hundred dollars, but if we did, this is the glider I was looking into! We bought most of the items at Target, IKEA, or Amazon.
Keep scrolling & I’ll show you how we put the board and batten wall together below!
Here’s how we (and by we, I mean 100% my husband) made the board and batten accent wall:
Nailing the boards to the wall
Ta-da! Team effort
We love how Jett’s nursery turned out and are excited to see it evolve over the years. It’s neutral enough that I can swap out the crib sheets & shelf decor for a new look (as you can see from the pictures I’ve already done quite a few times!) Huge shoutout to my husband, Spencer who spent countless hours creating the accent wall, putting the crib together, and the IKEA dresser! If you’ve ever put together an IKEA dresser you know that’s no easy feat! I couldn’t have done it without your help, Spencer!
