Are you looking for something to get your mom, mother-in-law, or wife for Mother’s Day?
Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and finding the perfect gift can be an overwhelming task when you’re carrying the mental load of so many other things.
That’s why I’ve put together the ultimate Mother’s Day gift guide full of some of my favorite things & ideas!
Be sure to check out my Mother’s Day post from last year, too!
Whether you’re looking for something sentimental, practical, or experience gifts, I’ve got you covered.
My brother & I usually split the cost and get a gift from both of us!
Let’s start off with first time moms! If you’re looking for a gift for someone’s first Mother’s Day, this is a big deal! It’s the first time they get to participate in this holiday as a mom. If you’re shopping for gift ideas for someone’s first Mother’s Day, anything that says “mama” is cute and fun.
A shirt or pullover, necklace, or cup with “mama” on it, or a ring with your child’s birthstone would be nice. Or something with your child’s face on it – a mug, or jewelry with your child’s initials. I’ll link some products below:
Mama shirt or sweatshirt
Mama necklace
Mama cup
Birthstone ring
Face mug
Photo keychain
Card – Trader Joe’s has cute cards for 99 cents. I buy a few each time I go!
Something handmade from the kids. If your kids are older, you can have them make a card or craft for mom. Or if they’re too little to make something themselves, you can get paint or get their handprints/footprints on a paper or make an ornament.
Flowers from Trader Joe’s – they usually have potted plants for under $10, or you can buy a mixed bouquet and put it in a vase!
Print out a 5×7 picture at Walgreens. Add a frame to your next Target pickup order. Boom – easy gift!
I love experience gifts the older I get. Here are some fun ideas you can gift her, or go do together:
If you are in the North Dallas area, my favorite spas are Hiatus Spa + Retreat in Frisco, and Stonebriar Spa (also in Frisco). If you are near Downtown McKinney, you could do a spa day at Pavitra Organic Day Spa, go eat lunch at Patina Green, and go shopping around the square.
Look into cooking classes at Sur la Table, Williams Sonoma, or search local places by you.
Last year Spencer found a brunch place called Fairview Farmers in Fairview/Allen, TX and it was amazing!
If you’re looking for an idea of something to get your wife: a mommy & me photoshoot would be so nice & thoughtful.
My favorite perfumes right now: Flower Bomb, Burberry Her, Tiffany & Love
Sephora is having their savings event right now: enter code SAVENOW at checkout (valid through 4/24)
A nice set of pajamas, slippers, or Barefoot Dreams blanket
My favorite pj sets are from Cosabella and UGG.
Cosabella pjs are 25% off for Mother’s Day with code BELLA25
I have the pink ones in a Medium! I would recommend sizing up if you are between sizes. I usually wear a S/M. I like my pj’s a little looser, and these did shrink a little in the wash.
Don’t pay full price for the Barefoot Dreams blanket – I’ve linked a less expensive one below! This is my favorite, softest blanket and 100% worth the hype.
Pink pajama set
Fuzzy slippers
Barefoot Dreams blanket
UGG pajamas
A Bogg bag would be perfect for the summer! Spencer got me one last year, and I use it everytime we go to the beach or the pool! They come in a ton of fun colors – I first saw them on our trip to 30A and all the moms by the pool had one. I’ve been seeing them more in Texas lately, and love them for the summer! I have the Original XL in a light blue color. I kind of want to get a small one but I don’t really *need* it. They’re so cute though!
Get her a frame with a printed picture, or a digital frame. Spencer & his siblings went in together to get my mother-in-law a digital frame one year, and we can upload pictures to it remotely. It runs on a loop in her kitchen so she gets to see pictures of her grandkids all the time.
There are a ton on Amazon at different price points – I would read the reviews and get one that would match best to her home or office decor. Here is one with good reviews and on a lightening sale on Amazon.
Here are some gift ideas when you just want to order something online and schedule it to be delivered. No wrapping involved. Save these ideas for birthdays, Father’s Day, or another occasion!
