March started off strong in Disneyland celebrating Jett’s 3rd birthday! I will do a recap post at some point. I wanted to take him while he was still 2 so he got in for free! We had a blast!!
Our little Jett Jett turned 3 on March 7th – I can’t believe we have a 3 year old! It feels like both forever ago and just yesterday we were at the hospital welcoming him into the world. Read Jett’s birth story here.
Jett and I held down the fort at home while Spencer was gone working for 19 days this month…we dog sat for a few families (15 days) so that kept us busy & at home. We spent lots of time outside.
and had some fun inside too ◡̈
My mom came in town for a weekend. We went shopping & out to eat. My mom & Jett rode the carousel at the mall…he was smiling so big! I got to design this custom trucker hat at a pop up in Dallas. Isn’t it cute?!
Spencer got to come home a day early which was a nice surprise! We rounded out the month at the neighborhood Easter egg hunt & spent Easter with my Aunt & Uncle in Frisco.

I got Jett some new lunchboxes for school & love them so far! His old ones we’ve used for 2 years and got yucky on the silicone part. These are the Omie boxes and come in so many fun colors. You can buy little silverware and divider / smaller cups to go inside too. I packed an Easter themed lunch and hid broccoli, fruit snacks, and cheese inside the eggs! This lunchbox is pretty big and fits quite a bit of food, so I would recommend for kids 3 and up.

Now that Spencer’s crazy schedule is officially over, it will be consistent from now on (still not easy solo parenting half the time) but at least we know his schedule for the rest of the year. Jett and I are still adjusting to this new lifestyle. The weeks he has off are great!
April has some exciting things in store, and we are thankful for our family and this life we get to live.
