Should you buy the Baby Brezza?

You probably found yourself here if you’re thinking about buying the Baby Brezza machine. Here’s my honest opinion and review of the product.

First, I’ll explain how it works. The exact model we have is the Baby Brezza Pro Advanced Formula Mixer in white.

The Baby Brezza is essentially a Keurig for bottles. Some features: you can control the temperature of the water. We give our bottles at room temp. You will program it to the formula that you use. Once you program it, you don’t have to do it again unless you switch formulas. You can select how many ounces you want in your bottle, ranging from 2-10 oz. Then just click start. It is super easy! The Brezza mixes the formula and water for you in a matter of seconds, and you are ready to go!

Here are my pros and cons.

Cons:

The Baby Brezza is high maintenance & comes with a high price tag. After every 4 bottles it will alert you to clean it. You need to remove a piece, wipe/wash it out, and wipe out the upper part where formula gets caked on. You will have to refill the water daily once your little one is eating more food. The whole machine needs a deep clean where you take it all apart monthly, as mold can build up if you don’t.

Pros:

The Baby Brezza is basically a Keurig for bottles. Essentially, just push a button & it makes a bottle in a matter of seconds. You can choose the water temperature & program it to your formula. Once you get it set up initially, you can just press “start” and voila! We do 100% formula feeding and our little guy is eating 6-8 oz per feeding so it is so fast and convenient! There is no measuring involved and it is definitely a huge time saver.

So, is it worth it?

My answer: it depends! Whether or not the Brezza is worth it would come down to your own family, situation, and values. For my family, the Brezza is 100% worth it, because it is easy, convenient, and saves me time. If you are bottle feeding or making bottles at all, it is for sure worth it.

If you have twins, this product would be a no-brainer.

If you are breastfeeding and only making a few bottles a day (1-3), I would say it is not worth the money.

If you are using more than 3 or 4 bottles per day, it is a huge time saver and definitely worth it for those overnight feedings! I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be measuring water and scooping formula at 2am while holding a screaming baby!

Overall I would recommend it.

You can purchase the Baby Brezza at Target, Amazon, or straight from the Baby Brezza website. I think we bought ours at Target. If you are still pregnant while reading this, you can add it to your Target or Amazon registry and buy it with your completion discount (see my post on that here), and there’s always the option to return it at those retailers if it doesn’t work out for you. Or, you could check Facebook Marketplace, although I wanted to buy this product new.
